The UHCC International Affairs Outreach Program is funded by the Hawaii State Legislature and was created by the Legislature to: (1) increase the knowledge of international and inter-cultural matters in community college students and the community at large throughout the state; and (2) identify and develop international resources for the staff and faculty at the community colleges.

Teachers collaborate with PAAC to find the speaker or cultural performance that complements their campus festival or class curriculum. The services are provided at no cost to the college, and are available for any University of Hawai'i Community College-sponsored course or activity, including non-credit classes, student activities, student clubs, faculty development or community outreach.
