In
the 2008 fiscal year, the program's statewide activities
included 40 presentations and performances attended
by over 7,542 individuals throughout seven main UHCC
campuses: Kapiolani, Honolulu, Leeward, Winward, Kauai,
Maui, and Hawaii.islands.

Features
Speaker
& Cultural Presentations
Collaborate with PAAC staff to find the speaker
or cultural performance that suites your festival
or class curriculum. The free services offered by
this program are available for any University of Hawai'i
Community College-sponsored course or activity, including
non-credit classes, student activities, student clubs,
faculty development or community outreach. All presentations
will be publicized to the general public, and must
be free and open the the community.
Complimentary
memberships
Complimentary memberships with PAAC are also provided
to selected community college instructors. Benefits
include regular mailings of PAAC newsletters and event
invitations, as well as reciprocal membership privileges
from all chapters of the National Council of World
Affairs Organizations. Through PAAC mailings, community
college faculty are informed of other PAAC's activities
that promote understanding of international affairs,
including luncheons and forums featuring prominent
figures from diplomatic, academic, business and journalistic
fields.
