Global Vision Summit: Homelessness & Design Thinking
Saturday, March 5th, 8:30am- 4:30pm
Hawaii Pacific University, Aloha Tower Marketplace

There are at least 6,300 people in Hawaii who are homeless on any given day.  11% of those are children. 22% are employed.*  Design thinking is a process that helps you consider new perspectives and reframe problems, spurring innovation. Learn how to use design thinking to generate ideas that assist those who are homeless in Hawaii. Students will also hear about what Hawaii is doing to address this issue and examine case studies from around the world. *Source: hopeserviceshawaii.org
