EXPOSE YOURSELF

Interested in international cuisine, art, travel, culture, business, and politics?  Expose yourself . . . to the world!  GAPP (Globally Aware Professionals Program), a new young professionals networking program with an international twist, will kick off its first event at Bali Indonesia, 1901 Kapiolani Blvd. on May 18, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. Buffet dinner.  $13 with RSVP by May 11th or $15 at the door.  Contact 944-7780 or admin@paachawaii.org.

GAPP’s mission is to provide fun social alternatives for young professionals to enhance their careers and open their minds to the world.  Future GAPP events will be member driven, but may include an ethnic dinner series, timely discussions on local and international topics, multicultural book club, music, dance, cinema, and exploration of international careers.  GAPP will connect individuals to global networks to enhance Hawaii’s future as a prominent leader in the Pacific.

GAPP is a program of the Pacific and Asian Affairs Council (PAAC), a private, non-profit organization that serves as the World Affairs Council for the State of Hawai'i.  PAAC promotes increased understanding of world affairs, particularly Asia-Pacific issues, by sponsoring speaker forums and conferences, facilitating cross-cultural exchange of international visitors, and conducting global education outreach programs at Hawai’i high schools and community colleges statewide.
