The Pacific & Asian Affairs Council (PAAC) invites Hawaiʻi high school students to the Global Vision Summit (GVS) 2025, an immersive, one-day event that puts you at the center of one of the most important conversations of our time.
This year’s theme, “Pacific AI: Navigating Culture and Climate,” explores how artificial intelligence is transforming economies, societies, and environments across the Pacific region. From questions of digital sovereignty to the spread of misinformation and the potential for climate innovation, this summit will challenge you to think critically about how AI can both empower and endanger our shared future. 🌐🧑💻🤖

GVS 2025 is open to all high school students across Hawaiʻi who are curious about global affairs, technology, and the Pacific region. Whether you’re interested in AI, climate action, ethics, or leadership, this summit will equip you with the tools to think globally and act locally.
Neighbor Island flights for PAAC club members
We’re proud to announce that Southwest Airlines is sponsoring flights for neighbor island students! Each PAAC Club receives two sponsored flights to send club members to GVS.
If your school fundraises to bring more, PAAC can support with ground transportation from the airport to UH Mānoa.

Time: 10 AM – 4 PM (Doors open at 9:30 AM)
Location: University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Campus Center Ballroom, 2465 Campus Rd, Honolulu, HI 96822 (3rd Floor of the Campus Center building)
Registration Deadline: Sunday, November 9th at midnight
Registration Fees: To maintain accountability, we are asking students to pay $5.00 to attend. Payment can be made via PayPal on the registration form or by sending a check to "PAAC" at 1601 East-West Road, 4F, Honolulu, HI 96848 (please note the student's name on the check). Waivers are available upon request through Max Malmud, hs@paachawaii.org.
