147 students from 19 schools across O'ahu, Hawai'i Island, and Maui competed in PAAC's 2026 Hawaiʻi Regional Academic WorldQuest at UH Mānoa. In a historic upset, Kalani High School swept the competition — dethroning two-time champions Kealakehe High School and earning a spot at Nationals in Washington, D.C.

On May 9th, 83 people gathered at the Hoʻokupu Center to say thank you — in eight languages, across 17 schools, and at the end of a year that took students from Honolulu to Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Jeju Island, Okinawa, Taiwan, Palau, and beyond.
