Hear Their Stories: You’re Invited!
Join the Pacific & Asian Affairs Council (PAAC) and the East-West Center as Student Ambassadors from across Hawaiʻi share insights from the 2026 Hawaiʻi Sister-State Study Tours Program. This spring break, 42 public high school students representing schools statewide will travel to Hawaiʻi’s Sister-States in the Philippines (Ilocos Norte & Ilocos Sur), South Korea (Jeju Island), and Japan (Okinawa) to explore culture, economic development, diplomacy, and global leadership. At this special community presentation, students will reflect on their experiences abroad and share recommendations and visions for strengthening Hawaiʻi.
