celebrating 70 years
PAAC is preparing the next generation of leaders for an increasingly interconnected world and promoting citizen diplomacy one handshake at a time. We are building bridges, inspiring young leaders, and developing global citizens.
HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS
The Academic WorldQuest Competition is an exciting global trivia competition for high school students in teams of four to test their international IQ. The winning team wins an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., to compete in the National Academic WorldQuest Competition.
PAAC's After-School Global Studies are offered at neighbor island schools- Kapaʻa, Kealakehe, Konawaena, and Waiākea- and challenge students to create real solutions for global issues of our time.
Annually, PAAC convenes an inter-school summit, bringing together public, private, charter, and home-school students to discuss key international issues.
PAAC Study Tours are ideal for both seasoned and first-time travelers. Our transformative travel opportunities emphasize hands-on learning, building friendships, and taking part in enriching cultural activities.
Each year PAAC provides scholarships and awards to our most involved students.
Check out PAAC U.N. Sustainable Development Goals lessons- developed on various global issues and their relevance to Hawai'i.
