2018 Fall Global Vision Summit: The People of COFA

The Compacts of Free Association (COFA) are a series of international agreements between the U.S. and three Pacific Island nations: Federated States of Micronesia, Marshall Islands, and Palau. Come learn more about COFA, why it matters for Hawai'i, and about the rich cultures of these island nations.  


2018 Academic WorldQuest Competition

Saturday, December 1st, 1:30 PM-4:30 PM
Teleconferenced from Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Kauai, and Hawaii (Kona and Hilo)

In teams of four, test your knowledge of global issues and current events in this statewide trivia competition. The winning teams wins a trip to Washington D.C.!   

The 2018 categories are Current Events, How to Deal with North Korea, Global Refugee and Migration Crisis, Japan-U.S. Relations, Space Policy, and the World Trade Organization (WTO).

All questions will be drawn from this study guide. Start studying today!

Registration Deadline: November 19, 2018

Oahu Students:  Cost: $15. This includes Global Vision Summit, WorldQuest, and lunch.
