PAAC developed free lesson plans on various global issues and their relevance to Hawai'i. Each lesson relates to one or more of the 17 U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and includes a curated list of articles or videos, a short kahoot quiz to test comprehension, discussion questions, ideas for action, and more. These were designed to be easily adaptable for PAAC club meetings or classroom situations, but they also serve as an excellent teacher resource for lesson planning.
New Japan Theme Lessons: 2023-24
This year our new HS Global Education Program Coordinator, Cheyenne Prater developed three new lessons based on our year's theme. These lessons are in a new format and easy to use for club meetings! This allows advisors to step back and allows students to leader their clubʻs learning.
